Best Friends of Pets
Who We Are
The mission of Best Friends of Pets is to end pet overpopulation. Best Friends helps pets in the following ways:
• SNAP - its Spay/Neuter Assistance Program targeted at low-income pet owners
• Pet adoptions
• Free pet ID tags
• Education on responsible pet ownership and other pet issues
Best Friends' programs and services are part of the effort to make the Oklahoma City metro area a "No Kill" community.
Adopting a friend
Best Friends works with small rescue groups and foster homes to find loving homes for pets in their care. All pets are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Adoption fees start at $65.
Best Friends does not have a shelter. For information on adopting a pet, contact the rescue group / foster caregiver for each pet or Best Friends.
